Positions within a datacenter are named in many ways and this often causes confusion. In order to prevent a mismatch between vacancies and potentially suitable candidates, we have aligned the various functions with international standards. This creates clear profiles and vacancies and aligns supply and demand. Below you will find the most common positions;

Ensure installation, operational support and maintenance of ICT and network infrastructure.
Develops, operates, supervises and maintains a data center that complies with relevant standards/codes and meets business needs.
Designs, develops and maintains electrical systems and/or components according to the required specifications, with a focus on safety, reliability, quality and sustainability.
Manages, monitors, and supports physical facilities. Some of these tasks include heating and cooling of air and water, power supply, generators, UPS systems, electrical distribution, and control and monitoring systems.
Manages and maintains the datacenter facilities to ensure the continuity and availability of datacenter services in an effective and efficient manner.
Manages all infrastructure and activities within the data center room and/or computer room.
Designs, develops and maintains mechanical systems and/or components according to the required specifications, with a focus on safety, reliability, quality and sustainability..
Leads the operational team responsible for running a highly available, effective, efficient and flexible data center organization.
Accountmanager
Manages customer relationships and focuses on customer sales and customer satisfaction
Architect
Designs new, extensions, renovations and preservation of buildings, taking into account construction techniques that ensure an optimized and efficient data center.
Building Manager
Performs complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment and grounds.
Business Continuity Manager
Develops and maintains business continuity strategies to ensure that critical services are maintained at agreed levels during times of service interruption or degradation due to adverse conditions.
Cabling Engineer
Installs cable routing systems, fire resistant cable systems, various electronic components, various cables including but not limited to: structured twisted pair cable, braided cable, low voltage cable, single-mode fiber optic cable and multi-mode fiber optic cable.
Civil Engineer/Construction Engineer
Planning, designing, supervising and managing all civil and construction related matters of the data
Commissioning/Testing Manager
Develop and deliver the commissioning strategy for the design and construction phases through to final testing and handover to Operations
Datacenter Design Manager
Develops and maintains a data center that can achieve its business goals by developing and managing an effective and efficient design plan.
EHS Manager (Environmental Health & Safety)
Develops and implements health and safety (H&S) programs to ensure compliance with environmental, national, health and safety standards in the applicable jurisdiction to ensure the health and safety of all persons in the data center
Finance Manager
Provides financial advice and support to the data center company, customers and colleagues to enable them to make financially responsible business decisions.
Fire/Safety Systems Engineer/Designer
Designs and develops fire and safety systems and/or components according to desired specifications, with safety, reliability, quality and sustainability as key factors.
HR Manager (Human Resource)
Develops, advises and implements policy and carries out effective personnel management within an organization.
ICT Technology and Network Engineer/Designer
Designs, develops and maintains ICT and Network infrastructure systems and/or components according to the required specifications, with a focus on safety, reliability, quality and sustainability.
Lawyer / Legal Advisor
Provides legal protection and service by advising companies on their legal rights and obligations, including the duties and responsibilities of management.
Monitoring and Automation Systems Engineer/Designer
Designs, develops and maintains monitoring/control (EMS/BMS/DCIM) systems and/or components according to required specifications, focused on safety, reliability, quality and sustainability.
NOC Manager
Manages customers, suppliers and technical teams to ensure that IT and network perform according to defined SLA levels.
Product Manager
Develops datacenter service products by executing all phases of product planning, implementation, and maintenance throughout the product lifecycle in alignment with overall company strategy and objectives.
Policy and Compliance Officer
Ensures and maintains compliance with (new) laws, codes, standards and regulations relating to the data center in order to preserve the reputation and integrity of the datacenter company.
Project Manager
Manages projects to achieve optimum performance in accordance with original specifications
Risk Manager
Assesses, identifies, and manages risk mitigation plans for potential risks that could impede the reputation, safety, security, and financial prosperity of the datacenter.
Security Manager
Ensures a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by establishing and enforcing security policies and procedures and overseeing the development of security systems to protect facilities, personnel, data and assets.
Security Systems Engineer/Designer
Designs, develops and maintains security systems and/or components according to the required specifications, with a focus on safety, reliability, quality and sustainability.
Service Desk Staff
Acts as the first point of contact, records, analyzes and attempts to resolve incidents and service requests or escalates to second line support.
Service Level Manager
Manages all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) across the organization, ensuring service commitments are met while driving service improvement programs.
Site Manager
Manages construction activities on site on behalf of the construction and inspects the daily progress of construction activities.
Site Selection Manager
Develops the location strategy for company-owned data centers and manages real estate site selection efforts, including collaboration with teams focused on economic development incentives, energy and utilities, network connectivity, legal, policy and financial considerations.
Solution Architect
Translates business and technical requirements into a data center architecture that is effective, efficient, compliant, scalable and flexible.
Structural Engineer
Designs structures that can withstand stresses and strains imposed on the data center and supporting structures by environmental and human conditions and ensure that they do not deflect, rotate, vibrate beyond acceptable limits or collapse and that they remain stable and safe during their use.
Sustainability Manager
Sustainability Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of an Environmental Management System (EMS) including compliance with environmental legislation and industry best practices.
