Our client’s company operates in the data center industry, providing a range of services across the Nordics region, particularly in the construction and management of data centers. They specialize in delivering tailored solutions, including infrastructure development, engineering, and operational support, to meet the growing demands of the data center market in Northern Europe.
The Commissioning Manager will play a key role in managing and executing the commissioning process across various stages of data center development, ensuring systems meet both design specifications and operational requirements. The role involves collaboration with general contractors, engineers, and clients, and requires hands-on involvement across multiple sites.
This individual will be a core part of the Cx Team, actively contributing to the planning and execution of commissioning activities on-site, with a focus on later-stage activities including Level 4 and Level 5, depending on end-customer requirements.
Function
- Act as a lead representative of the Commissioning Team on-site for assigned data center projects.
- Manage and coordinate commissioning activities from early design through to integrated systems testing (Level 1 to 5).
- Oversee planning, documentation, and execution of Load Bank Testing and integrated systems tests (ISAT).
- Interface with contractors, clients, and project stakeholders to ensure proper execution of the Cx plan.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior commissioning personnel.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MEP systems during the commissioning phase.
- Prepare and maintain detailed commissioning reports and records.
Job requirements
- Proven experience in commissioning managing within the data centers.
- In-depth understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Hands-on experience with Load Bank Testing, SAT, and ISAT processes.
- Ability to lead Cx efforts across multiple disciplines and teams.
- Willingness to travel and be present on-site as required across Northern Europe.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards and commissioning best practices.
