We are seeking a Senior IT Technician to join the team. The role involves working onsite at the data center, coordinating server equipment operations with contractors, resolving IT hardware issues, and overseeing a wide range of IT-related responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Planning regular IT tasks in the data center.

  • Solving issues with IT hardware and supporting IT infrastructure in the data center.

  • Collaborating with related departments and external contractors.

  • Analyzing problems and abnormal situations that arise in the data center and finding the root causes.

  • Keeping reports on the work of IT data center support.

  • Creating and keeping actual processes/procedures of operation and repairing server equipment.

Job requirements

  • University or specialized education.
  • Practical experience in planning and solving technical problems.
  • Know the principles of the data center, server, and network equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux and the command line.
  • Knowledge of the ITIL methodology and operational activities of the technical support service (ITSM).
  • Knowledge in project planning and management.
  • Strong written and spoken fluency in English.
  • Excel at the advanced level (pivot tables, formulas, lists, graphs).
  • Skills of making presentations using PowerPoint or analogs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL certification
  • PMI Certification
  • Skills of using BPMN
