Function
We are currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Work Planner to join our dynamic team, focusing on datacenter projects. As a Work Planner, you will play a critical role in coordinating and scheduling tasks, ensuring efficient workflows, and contributing to the successful execution of data center initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Scheduling:
Develop detailed project schedules outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements
Collaborate with project managers to align schedules with overall project goals
• Task Coordination:
Coordinate with various teams, including engineering, construction, and operations, to schedule and sequence tasks.
Ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to project timelines
• Resource Allocation:
Work closely with resource managers to allocate manpower and equipment efficiently
Optimize resource utilization to maximize productivity.
• Workflow Optimization:
Identify bottlenecks and potential issues in workflows.
Implement strategies to enhance workflow efficiency and eliminate obstacles.
• Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
Document changes to schedules and communicate adjustments to relevant stakeholders
Job requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field
• 5+ years of proven experience as a Work Planner in construction, in datacenter projects will be a big plus
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera 6).
• Familiarity with construction workflows, with datacenter operation will be a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to convey complex scheduling information to diverse teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail in scheduling and task coordination
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Norwegian is a plus
• EU passport or valid Norwegian work permit
• Willingness to travel to and stay in Norway for extended periods
