We are seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to oversee the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scope of a large-scale data center construction project. In this critical role, you will manage the planning, coordination, and execution of all MEP activities from design through commissioning, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all MEP aspects of data center construction projects
- Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and vendors to align with project goals
- Review and validate MEP designs to meet data center standards (e.g., Uptime Tier, ASHRAE)
- Monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
- Ensure quality assurance, compliance, and safety across all MEP installations
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems
- Identify and resolve technical issues, delays, or risks proactively
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing MEP works in large-scale construction projects (data center experience is a strong plus)
- Strong understanding of critical MEP systems used in data centers (cooling, UPS, generators, fire suppression, etc.)
- Experience working with design tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks) and project management software
- Familiarity with BIM coordination, QA/QC processes, and commissioning procedures
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Fluent in English.
