Key services include consulting, project delivery (from design to implementation), support & maintenance, training, and delivering tools like MES/MOM, quality management, and planning/scheduling systems.
We are looking for a Project Manager to lead and manage datacenter automation projects from initiation to completion. In this role, you will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate internal teams and subcontractors, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and oversee all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery to drive successful outcomes.
The first project is based in the Randstad region, requiring regular on-site presence to oversee progress and cabling installation. Future projects may also take place outside the Netherlands, offering opportunities for international travel.
Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination

Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budgets.

Align with internal departments such as Marketing & Sales, Delivery, and Support to ensure project success.

Gather client requirements and provide regular progress updates.
Project Execution

Oversee day-to-day project activities to ensure compliance with plans.

Monitor performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Ensure deliverables meet agreed quality standards and client expectations.

Evaluate outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement.
Team Leadership

Lead, motivate, and support cross-functional project teams.

Assign responsibilities effectively and optimize resource use.

Provide guidance, training, and mentorship where needed.
Financial Management

Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost control.

Prepare financial reports and forecasts.

Approve project-related expenses within agreed limits.
Client & Stakeholder Communication

Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing issues and resolving concerns.

Conduct stakeholder meetings to review progress and milestones.

Maintain clear and professional communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, and reports.

Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients.

Record lessons learned and best practices for future use.
Job requirements

Bachelor’s degree (HBO or equivalent) in Business Management, Engineering, or related field.

PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred.

Several years of proven experience in project management.

Familiarity with methodologies such as PRINCE2 or Agile.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Working knowledge of automation systems (Controls, SCADA, networks preferred).

Strong understanding of project management principles.

Excellent client engagement and relationship-building skills.

Proficiency with project management tools/software.
