Organization
The Project Manager Electrical is primarily responsible for the oversight, planning and execution of all electrical aspects related to the data center project. This includes power distribution, backup power solutions, cooling systems and energy efficiency measures. He or she will work closely with various internal teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure that the project is executed on time, on budget and meets the highest industry standards.

They are currently looking for a skilled Project Manager specialized in data center electrical systems to lead the electrical aspects of our most ambitious project: the construction of Europe’s largest data center in Norway.
Function
– Plan and oversee the electrical systems specifically related to data center operations, such as power distribution networks, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and HVAC systems
– Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including specialists in data center architecture and construction teams. – Monitor electrical project milestones and make adjustments as necessary
– Provide regular status reports to the M&E Manager
– Ensure quality assurance and control for all electrical systems, in accordance with industry best practices and regulations
– Ensure all electrical work complies with national and international safety standards and regulations
Job Requirements
– Degree in Electrical Engineering
– Minimum 5 years of experience in managing electrical systems projects, specifically in the data center industry
– Demonstrated experience in overseeing engineering teams and budgets
– Leadership and excellent communication skills
– Fluent in English; Proficiency in Norwegian is a plus
– EU passport or valid Norwegian work permit
– Willingness to travel and stay in Norway for an extended period
