Function
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead and scale operations in Austria, with a strong focus on large-scale construction and data center projects.
The CEO will be responsible for driving business growth, operational excellence, and strategic expansion while ensuring successful delivery of high-value, mission-critical projects.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the overall business strategy for Austria
Lead and oversee large-scale construction and datacenter operations
Drive business development and market expansion within Austria and the wider European region
Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing leadership team (Project Directors, COO, Commercial Leads)
Ensure successful delivery of high-value projects (€100M–€1B+)
Maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and key stakeholders
Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and profitability
Ensure compliance with local regulations, governance, and corporate standards
Drive operational efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement
Represent the organization at industry forums and with strategic partners
Job Requirements
20+ years of experience in construction, infrastructure, or datacenter industry
Proven track record in a senior leadership role (CEO, Managing Director, or equivalent)
Strong experience managing large-scale, high-value projects
Demonstrated success in business growth and P&L management
Deep understanding of the European construction/datacenter market
Strong commercial, financial, and strategic acumen
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience managing multi-disciplinary and international teams
Preferred Profile
Prior experience in the Austrian or DACH region (Austria, Germany, Switzerland)
Background in datacenters or mission-critical infrastructure
Strong network within the European construction and infrastructure sector
EU Passport holder or eligible to work in Austria
