Function
The Design Manager will lead and coordinate design development for the Seinäjoki compound project (Phases 2 & 3). This role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and project leadership to ensure timely, high-quality, and compliant design delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multidisciplinary design teams (mechanical, electrical, CSA)
Oversee design development from concept through detailed design stages
Collaborate closely with project leadership and stakeholders (including Filipe F.)
Ensure alignment with project timelines, budget, and technical standards
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and supply chain partners
Review and validate design deliverables, specifications, and drawings
Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and HSE standards
Support value engineering and design optimization initiatives
Job Requirements
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Proven experience as a Design Manager on large-scale construction projects
Prior experience in data centers or mission-critical environments preferred
Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple design interfaces and priorities
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
