Function
The Vice President (VP) – Purchasing and Supply Chain will lead and scale CTS Group’s global procurement and supply chain operations. The role involves driving strategic sourcing of high-value equipment, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing logistics to support large-scale datacenter projects. Responsibilities include overseeing procurement of mission-critical equipment, developing resilient supply chain frameworks, managing budgets, leading a high-performing team, ensuring compliance with regulations, and identifying opportunities for innovation and cost optimization.
Job Requirements
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
– 15–20+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics, especially in large-scale infrastructure or construction projects
– Proven leadership experience at Director or VP level in a multinational environment
– Strong expertise in strategic sourcing and procurement of mission-critical or heavy industrial equipment
– Deep understanding of global supply chain dynamics, logistics, and risk management
– Experience managing large CAPEX procurement budgets and complex contract negotiations
– Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills
– Preferred: experience in datacenter, mission-critical, or energy infrastructure environments
– Preferred: strong network within global equipment manufacturers and logistics providers
– Preferred: background in sustainable procurement and decarbonization strategies
– Preferred: experience working in the Nordic region or supporting European mega-projects
– Preferred: EU Passport holder or eligibility to work across Europe
