Privacy Policy

DC People B.V., trading as DC People, is the controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at Boeing Avenue 254, 1119 PZ Schiphol-Rijk, The Netherlands, by email at info@dc-people.nl or by phone on +31 (0) 20 820 30 18.

This website collects personal data only when you choose to send it. There is no account to create and no profile stored in the background.

• Contact form — your name, company name, phone number, email address, LinkedIn URL and the message you write. Name, email and message are required; the rest is optional.
• Measurement and analytics — if, and only if, you press “Accept” on the cookie banner, we load measurement tools that record your visit, so we can see how our campaigns perform and how the site itself is used. Today those are the LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Analytics 4, the Meta Pixel, Contentsquare, and the Google Tag Manager container they are loaded through — all five are set out in full under Every system we use below. One of them, Contentsquare, records your visit so it can be played back afterwards; that is set out there too. Decline and none of them ever load, and you can withdraw at any time.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.

When you use the search box, what you type is sent to our own server as part of the web address of a background request, so we can look up matching pages. Our website software does not save it: the search is answered from content we already hold, your search term is never written to our database, and our own code writes no record of what was typed. Because searching does not change the address of the page you are on, your search terms are not part of the page address our analytics and advertising partners receive.

Job applications do not run through this website. Vacancies and applications are handled on our Vacancies platform, which runs on our address but is operated by another company. See Every system we use below.

Anything you submit through the contact form is processed to answer you and, where relevant, to discuss a role or a vacancy with you — that is our legitimate interest in responding to the enquiry you sent us, and the step before a possible agreement. The measurement tools run on your consent alone, which you can withdraw at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.

Form submissions are stored in this website’s own database, so that we can see and answer them, and we are notified by email through Microsoft 365, which also carries our own mail. The site and that database run on Microsoft Azure, in their Sweden Central region — within the European Union. Content shown on the site — blog posts, team profiles — is held in the same database and contains no visitor data.

We share personal data with third parties only where it is necessary to deliver our service to you or to meet a legal obligation. We never sell your data, and nothing you send us through the contact form is used for advertising.

Advertising measurement is a separate thing, and it is your choice. If you press Accept on the cookie banner, the LinkedIn tag named below records your visit in an advertising account, which is also used to decide who sees our ads. Press Decline and it never loads.

Below is every party that receives something about you when you use this site, what they get, and where their own privacy statement is. It is accurate as of the date at the top of this page; we update it when a party is added.

Only after you press Accept — these load nothing, and receive nothing, if you decline or ignore the banner. The Tag Manager container, and the LinkedIn, Analytics and Meta tags inside it, run on our Vacancies platform as well, behind that platform’s own banner, and the Analytics, Meta and Contentsquare cookies are written for the whole of dc-people.com — so if you accept in both places, your visits to the two are measured as one person rather than two.

• LinkedIn Insight Tag — LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company. Receives the page you are on, your IP address and your browser details, and sets its own cookies, so your visit can be matched to a LinkedIn member and used to measure and target our advertising. Privacy policy · Cookie policy
• Google Tag Manager — Google Ireland Limited. The container our marketing team loads its own measurement tags into; Google Analytics, below, is what it currently loads. Fetching the container already discloses your IP address and the page you are on to Google, and further tags can be placed in it without this website being changed. • Google Analytics 4 — Google Ireland Limited. Measures how the site is used: which pages you view, your device and browser, the approximate location Google derives from your IP address, and the site or search that sent you here. Since 16 September 2026 it also records the moment you send the contact form, click through to our vacancies, or submit an application — the fact that it happened and on which page, never what you wrote. It receives no name, email or anything else you type into a form. It does store a number in a cookie on your own device (“_ga”) so that a second visit from the same browser is recognised as a return rather than a new person. • Meta Pixel — Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2. Measures how our campaigns perform and which of them lead to an application. It receives the page you are on, your IP address, your browser and device, and the identifier it stores in a cookie on your device (“_fbp”). It also receives an event when you submit an application on the Vacancies platform — that one tells Meta you applied, though not what for or what you wrote. Your name, email address and phone number are not sent: the option that would do that is switched off, and we checked. Privacy policy · Cookie policy
• Contentsquare (formerly Hotjar) — a company in the Contentsquare group; we are confirming which one from our contract and will name it here. Shows us how the site is used: which pages you view, where you click, how you move your mouse, how far you scroll, your device and browser, and the approximate location derived from your IP address. It also records your visit so that we can play it back afterwards — the movement of your mouse, what you clicked and in what order, across every page you visit, not a sample. Text on the page is masked in that playback, so what you type into a form is not captured; the label of the thing you click is. It stores three cookies on your device: one that identifies your browser for about thirteen months (“_cs_id”), one for the visit itself (“_cs_s”), and one that records your cookie choice (“_cs_c”). Those are written for the whole of dc-people.com, so they are there on our vacancies site too. We use it to see which parts of a page people actually use, and to improve the layout and the wording. Always, because the site cannot work without them. These are our processors: they act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.

• Microsoft Azure — Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited. Runs the site and the database, in the Sweden Central region, within the European Union. Serves every page you ask for, stores the enquiries sent through the contact form, and holds your IP address in memory to stop the form being abused. Privacy statement
• Microsoft 365 — Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited. Carries the notification email for each enquiry, containing what you filled in, to a DC People mailbox. Your browser never contacts it; your data travels inside that message.
• Azure Blob Storage — Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited. Hosts the images on our blog pages. On those your browser fetches them directly, so Microsoft sees your IP address, your browser and the page you came from. Elsewhere on the site images pass through our own server instead.

Only when you press play.

• bunny.net — BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia. Streams the CTS Group video on our About page, from CTS Group’s own account rather than ours. Nothing is requested until you press play; from that moment bunny.net receives your IP address, your browser and the page you came from, and derives your country from it. A separate platform you are handed over to.

• The Sourcing Engine — the Vacancies platform. It runs on a DC People address, but on another company’s servers, in Germany. Everything you browse or submit there — including a CV — goes to them, not through this website, and this website sends them nothing about you. It does work the other way round: since 15 September 2026 our own measurement tags run on their pages too, which is why they are named above as well. They do not currently publish a privacy statement of their own. We have asked for one, and this entry will name it as soon as it exists. In the meantime, write to info@dc-people.nl with any question about data you have sent through that platform.

LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company and Google Ireland Limited are both established in the EEA, so your data does not leave the EEA when this site sends it to them. What does leave is the onward transfer each of them makes to its own parent in the United States — LinkedIn Corporation and Google LLC. That transfer is theirs to make rather than ours, but you should know it happens.

When we checked the US Department of Commerce register on 15 September 2026, both parents were listed as active participants in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework for this category of data. That listing is a self-certification, not an audit, and not an approval of either company by a regulator — you can look both up yourself. Google states that since 1 September 2023 it has relied on that Framework to move personal data from the EEA to the United States for its advertising and analytics products, and undertakes in its terms to fall back on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses if it ever stops. LinkedIn states that it relies on the standard contractual clauses, the Framework, or another lawful basis, without saying which applies to a particular transfer.

Contentsquare is the one party above whose contracting entity we have not yet confirmed, so we cannot yet tell you whether your data leaves the EEA when it goes there, or on what basis it would. We are reading that out of our contract, and this paragraph will say so. Until it does, declining on the banner is the way to be certain it does not happen at all.

If you would rather none of this happens, decline on the cookie banner — the site works exactly the same without it.

We keep your personal data no longer than is necessary for the purpose it was collected for. Enquiries that do not lead to contact are removed once they are no longer relevant. To have something you sent us deleted sooner, email info@dc-people.nl and we will remove it.

The measurement tools keep their own clocks, which we do not set. The longest of them is Contentsquare’s: the cookie identifying your browser lasts about thirteen months, and the recordings of visits are held for as long as their own retention settings allow. Clearing your cookies ends the first of those immediately.

The site sets no tracking cookies until you allow it. Your choice on the cookie banner is stored locally in your own browser so we do not have to ask again; that entry never leaves your device. Pressing Accept additionally loads the measurement tools listed above, which set their own cookies to measure our campaigns and how the site is used.

You can change your mind at any time through Cookie settings in the footer, and you can clear or block cookies entirely in your browser settings.

This website is not intended to collect data about visitors under the age of 16, and we have no way to verify a visitor's age. If you believe we hold personal data about a minor without parental consent, contact us at info@dc-people.nl and we will delete it.

DC People does not make decisions with a significant effect on people by automated means. There is always a person involved.

You have the right to see the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to have its processing restricted, to withdraw consent you have given, to object to processing, and to receive your data in a portable form. Send any such request to info@dc-people.nl. We respond as quickly as we can, and within four weeks at the latest.

To be sure a request comes from you, we may ask you to confirm your identity. If you send a copy of an identity document, black out the photo, the machine-readable zone, the document number and your BSN first — we do not need them.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

We take the protection of your data seriously and apply appropriate measures against misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you think your data is not properly secured, or you see signs of misuse, contact us at info@dc-people.nl.
