Who is responsible for your data
DC Squad B.V., trading as DC People, is the controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at Boeing Avenue 254, 1119 PZ Schiphol-Rijk, The Netherlands, by email at info@dc-people.nl or by phone on +31 (0) 20 820 30 18.
What we collect, and when
This website collects personal data only when you choose to send it. There is no account to create and no profile stored in the background.
- Contact form — your name, company name, phone number, email address, LinkedIn URL and the message you write. Name, email and message are required; the rest is optional.
- Marketing measurement— if, and only if, you press “Accept” on the cookie banner, the LinkedIn Insight Tag records your visit so we can measure our LinkedIn campaigns. Decline and it never loads.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.
Job applications do not run through this website. Vacancies and applications are handled on our JobHub, which is a separate platform with its own privacy statement.
Why we are allowed to process it
Anything you submit through the contact form is processed to answer you and, where relevant, to discuss a role or a vacancy with you — that is our legitimate interest in responding to the enquiry you sent us, and the step before a possible agreement. The LinkedIn Insight Tag runs on your consent alone, which you can withdraw at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.
Where it goes
Form submissions are delivered to us by email through Resend, our email provider, and land in the DC People mailbox. They are not stored in a database on this website. The site itself runs on Vercel, served from their Frankfurt region. Content shown on the site — blog posts, team profiles — is stored in a managed Postgres database and does not contain visitor data.
We share personal data with third parties only where it is necessary to deliver our service to you or to meet a legal obligation. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep your personal data no longer than is necessary for the purpose it was collected for. Enquiries that do not lead to contact are removed once they are no longer relevant. To have something you sent us deleted sooner, email info@dc-people.nl and we will remove it.
Cookies
The site sets no tracking cookies until you allow it. Your choice on the cookie banner is stored locally in your own browser so we do not have to ask again; that entry never leaves your device. Pressing Accept additionally loads the LinkedIn Insight Tag, which sets its own cookies to measure our campaigns.
You can change your mind at any time through Cookie settings in the footer, and you can clear or block cookies entirely in your browser settings.
Visitors under 16
This website is not intended to collect data about visitors under the age of 16, and we have no way to verify a visitor's age. If you believe we hold personal data about a minor without parental consent, contact us at info@dc-people.nl and we will delete it.
Automated decision-making
DC People does not make decisions with a significant effect on people by automated means. There is always a person involved.
Your rights
You have the right to see the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to withdraw consent you have given, to object to processing, and to receive your data in a portable form. Send any such request to info@dc-people.nl. We respond as quickly as we can, and within four weeks at the latest.
To be sure a request comes from you, we may ask you to confirm your identity. If you send a copy of an identity document, black out the photo, the machine-readable zone, the document number and your BSN first — we do not need them.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Security
We take the protection of your data seriously and apply appropriate measures against misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you think your data is not properly secured, or you see signs of misuse, contact us at info@dc-people.nl.
