Function
The Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all manufacturing activities within the EPOD production facility. The role ensures the safe, efficient, and timely fabrication, assembly, integration, testing, and delivery of EPOD modules in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
The Production Manager leads production teams, drives operational excellence, and collaborates with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Logistics, and Project Management teams to achieve production targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution
• Manage daily manufacturing operations for EPOD fabrication, assembly, electrical integration, mechanical installation, and factory testing activities.
• Develop and execute production schedules aligned with project milestones and customer delivery commitments.
• Monitor production progress and ensure on-time completion of all manufacturing activities.
• Allocate manpower, equipment, and resources to maximize productivity and operational efficiency.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule adherence.
Manufacturing Operations
• Oversee structural fabrication, enclosure assembly, electrical equipment installation, cable management, HVAC integration, fire protection systems, and auxiliary systems installation.
• Ensure manufacturing activities comply with approved drawings, engineering specifications, method statements, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary production teams including fabrication, electrical, mechanical, and testing personnel.
• Drive manufacturing excellence through standardized work processes and best practices.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
• Ensure all production activities comply with quality management systems, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and project specifications.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to achieve first-time-right production.
• Support internal audits, customer inspections, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and third-party inspections.
• Review and resolve production-related non-conformities and corrective actions.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
• Promote a strong safety culture throughout the production facility.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures, Saudi regulations, and customer safety requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Investigate production incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Ensure safe operation of machinery, lifting equipment, and production processes.
Resource & Workforce Management
• Lead and supervise production supervisors, team leaders, and shop-floor personnel.
• Plan workforce requirements based on production schedules and project demands.
• Monitor labor productivity and workforce performance.
• Develop training plans to enhance employee skills and operational capability.
• Conduct performance evaluations and coaching sessions.
Material & Inventory Coordination
• Coordinate with Procurement and Warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
• Monitor material consumption and minimize waste.
• Review production shortages and proactively resolve supply chain issues affecting manufacturing schedules.
• Support inventory optimization initiatives.
Testing & Commissioning Support
• Coordinate factory testing activities including electrical testing, integrated systems testing, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
• Ensure EPOD modules are delivered ready for site commissioning and customer acceptance.
• Support commissioning teams in resolving production-related issues identified during testing.
Continuous Improvement
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor production KPIs and develop improvement plans.
• Drive productivity improvement, cost reduction, waste elimination, and process optimization programs.
• Promote innovation and operational excellence across manufacturing processes.
Reporting & Stakeholder Coordination
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production performance reports.
• Participate in project review meetings and production planning sessions.
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Logistics, and Project Management teams.
• Provide regular updates to the Plant Manager regarding production performance, risks, and mitigation plans.

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 8–15 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a production leadership role.
• Experience in EPOD, modular data centers, switchgear, electrical skids, prefabricated buildings, modular construction, critical infrastructure, or industrial manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Quality Systems, and HSE Management.
