Specialising in electrical engineering, industrial projects, energy transition, datacenters, and infrastructure, ESC Projects deploys a multidisciplinary team of engineers and project managers to deliver complex projects for contractors, EPC contractors, and end customers across Europe.
Function
As Sales Engineer you are the connecting factor between customers, engineering teams, and international project organisations. You develop new business across electrical installations, energy transition projects, datacenters, industry and infrastructure, cables and pipes, industrial automation, engineering and EPC projects, and nearshoring solutions. You build and maintain long-term customer relationships, generate new business in the technical sector, identify market developments and project opportunities, issue and follow up on technical quotations, negotiate contracts and framework agreements, and develop international partnerships. You also translate customer questions into technical solutions, advise on engineering capacity and project implementation, coordinate with electrical engineers and project managers, and contribute to the international growth strategy targeting the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and the Nordics.
Job Requirements
Technical or commercial background in electrical engineering, industrial projects, or EPC contracting. Proven experience in B2B sales or business development within the technical sector. Strong commercial drive combined with genuine technical affinity. Fluent in Dutch and English; German or a Nordic language is a plus. Comfortable working internationally and building relationships across borders. Based in or near the Rotterdam/Ridderkerk region.
